So I don''t know how it is for everyone here but after my first child was born I suffered this crazy spell where I had no drive at all.

I thought I was an oddity. Come to find out though I was not alone! I started a group at Mommytalk .com where we mothers all women can talk about our sex lives or the lack there of and try and help each other get that spark back sharing ideas and tips. just like any thing in our life we are sharing the journey.

It's good to know there are ppl who have been down that rocky road and are now standing on the other end cheering the rest of us on! so much support happening there!

It was around this time last year that I was feeling down, isolated from the real world and the only people to have meaningful conversations with were my 2 children. B being 4 and O being 2 there wasn't a whole lot of great exchange going on.

I stumbled onto this web site called Mommytalk.com... It was a huge life and sanity saver. The moms of that site are so supportive it's unreal. I have formed many great friendships over the last year with many of these women.

It all started in the chat room really, we would all gather there in the evenings after the kiddies went to bed and stay up all hours chatting and laughing all the while it was and still is a great way to get in touch with friends.

The site has so much to offer. we have new feature content daily, we have the options to create a custom profile and ability to add video and pix. The forums are always booming with fun topics and the groups  are many!

The best part is that the site is run by its users so we are always there to help when problems arise. It's for moms by moms... and we moms really do get to choose what we see on the site. We make things happen there. Its a great thing!

My girls at MT helped me realize that I am more then just a mom. I'm a friend, a teacher, a leader, a lover and many more things that I had forgotten about along my journey as a mom.

Oh I forgot to mention mommyblogs! Mommytalk has a blogging section as well. TMT chooses Blogs to run as feature content. Some of our bloggers have had there blogs featured along side some of our more professional contributors like Dr. Sears and Dr. Diane Lang. Do check out the Blog section at MT so much going on there! Heck if you post there you could get published!
