FREE MUIB Lifetime Membership, Limited Time Only!
DATE: 08/24/2008 09:31:49 / MOOD: Happy
As of September 15, 2008 MUIB will begin charging membership dues for the MAIN SITE, http://www.momsunitedinbusiness.com.
This does NOT apply to the yahoo group, http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/Moms_United_In_Business.
Current members and all those that join between now and September 14 will be granted free lifetime memberships. Be sure to invite your friends NOW!
Why are we going to charge membership dues? Our ultimate goal is to become a national networking organization online and off with chapters in every state across the country. We have many many exciting plans, and are thrilled that you have decided to join us in this awesome, awe inspiring journey.
MUIB is not now, and will never be just another wahm community.
Membership dues will help fund and continue our online endeavors, as well as allow myself and the MUIB Team to begin implementing the next phase of Moms United in Business as we take things to the next level. We will be having yearly MUIB member retreats and conferences and so MUCH more!
So, again, ALL current members, and those that join by September 14 will be granted lifetime memberships and will never be charged membership dues.
Here's to YOUR Success!

Life Matters!

Life Matters http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Life_Matters/
This group has been an awesome source of personal support for me, and was how
I met both my dear friends and MUIB members/partners Lib and Dolly. I haven't
had a lot of time to participate due to time constraints, but I do read a lot of
posts, and wanted to share this group with any of you that would be interested
in joining! The following is the info posted on the main page of the group to
give you an idea of what it is all about! There are no referral contests, or
anything like that, I just think a lot of you here would benefit! Love you
all!

Description
Welcome To
Life Matters! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Life_Matters/
Around
since late 2003 - We are a group for Christian Women - Young Women, Wives, Moms,
Grandmas, Stay At Home Moms, Work At Home Moms and those wanting to be. Here we
can come together for support, encouragement, fellowship and prayers.
As
a Christian woman our first priority is to our family.
Sometimes we need
an outlet, sometimes we need advice. Sometimes we just need other women. As
women, we all work hard. Some of us are married, single or widowed, moms or
hoping to be, working outside of the home, stay at home, homeschooling, working
from home and/or those who help to supplement their household incomes. Each of
these comes with their own special rewards as well as struggles.
We hope
to offer something for everyone. Please come in, take a breath, and share with
us.

Show Your Support (Just a Moment of Your Time!)
I am a Work at Home MOM (MOM being the Keyword Here)
DATE: 04/12/2008 14:34:42 / MOOD: Happy
Moms United in Business has taken off MUCH faster than
I ever imagined. To be honest, I assumed that where we are now is where we would
be once Little Miss and Princess started kindergarten (soon to be 2, and soon to
be 1! Then add my tween to the mix!). I guess I underestimated myself, to say
the least!
I am plum tickled that my vision and my mission is taking off.
But, the fact of the matter is, I am a work at home MOM. Mom being the keyword here.
What
does this mean to me? That I am an ambitious woman, with dreams of my own, and I
am seeing I have what it takes to actually make a go of it, but I choose to stay
home for my children. I am a stay at home mom/work at home mom by choice. There
seems to be a notion in the general public that a lot of at home moms are
uneducated, lazy, and are unable to make anything of themselves.
This, my
friends, could not be further from the truth! I am currently doing product
reviews for some of my MUIBers, and the talent, dedication and ideas they have
are astonishing! These women are not only educated, but oh so very talented, and
I am honored my life's calling is to help them achieve their personal and
professional goals!
That said, online is how I work. Via phone when I get
a chance. Outside meetings and such, not something I can commit to right now. I
have had so many invitations for local networking lately, and while I am sad I
am unable to attend these functions, again I have to say my children are my main
priority.
They always will be. But, as they grow, and start school, I
will be able to do more outside of the home and be able to attain my own goal of
running MUIB as an actual business full time.
Some may be put off by me
not attending functions, or my inability to return phone calls promptly...I am
by no means trying to be unprofessional. To me, having the chance to be home
with my children is a gift, a gift I cannot take for granted. They are on loan
to me for only a short while, and they will leave to pursue lives and dreams all
their own. They are my little miracles, my blessings.
While I am a huge
advocate for women making their own money, and pursuing their own passions, I am
also an advocate for moms that make financial and personal "sacrifices" to be
there for their kids.
For me, the "sacrifices" are actually blessings, as
I have been given a gift and an opportunity to raise my own children, and to be
an active parent in their day to day lives.
Let me also make this CLEAR.
I am not into "Mommy Wars", and I am NOT saying the choice my husband and I have
made works for everyone. There are women (and I have MANY friends as examples)
that prove to me that working outside the home makes THEM better
mothers.
Here's a concept. Let's all make the best decisions for
ourselves and our families. What works for one woman/family may not work for
another.
What I am sharing is what works for me, who am I and what I want
out of this life.
We get one life, one chance. Do what makes YOU and your
loved ones happy. Let's unite, support and show both compassion and
understanding...whatcha think? I would love to hear your own
stories, and any feedback you would like to share!
Wishing You an Abundance of
Blessings,
Jenn Rogers, Founder www.MomsUnitedInBusiness.com
